I tried to call the court on thursday, why do I keep getting the voicemail?

Thursdays are the busiest day of the week for our staff, as it is the day that court is being held and the Magistrate, Prosecutors, and Clerk personnel are assisting those who have appeared. Leaving a message on the voicemail does not excuse your appearance in court. We will make every effort to try and answer the phones on Thursdays, however, if you leave a message we will return your call as soon as possible. A note of caution, if you have been previously summoned to appear or have had a warrant for your case, you must appear or another warrant will be issued and any bond that has been posted will be forfeited. The clerk staff cannot change your requirement to appear over the phone.
